Armed Security Officer

Job Details

• Provide visible armed deterrence and protection for designated high-risk or high-value client sites.

• Conduct regular perimeter sweeps, access control, and interior patrols to identify and mitigate potential threats.

• Respond immediately to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations with appropriate, measured force and de-escalation tactics.

• Maintain detailed, accurate daily activity logs and incident reports using Bedrock's digital reporting software.

• Liaise professionally with clients, the public, and local law enforcement during critical incidents.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of prior armed security, military, or law enforcement experience.

• Active, valid state armed security guard license and necessary firearms permits.

• Exceptional weapon proficiency and willingness to undergo regular Bedrock tactical firearms training.

• Strong situational awareness, critical thinking under pressure, and mastery of verbal de-escalation techniques.

• High school diploma or equivalent; must pass a rigorous background check and drug screening.
